Roof Ballast System

Description:

The Kaysen solar Ballast I-2 system, crafted from extruded aluminum profiles, offers a lightweight solution for almost all flat roof solar power plant constructions. Engineered for simplicity, this system is designed for easy and quick installation using only one tool and a small number of components. It allows for a variety of configurations to optimize solutions for South-facing, North-South, and East-West oriented roofs.

Variability:

Suitable for both framed and laminated modules

Module inclination angle options include 10°, 15°, 20°, 30°, or can be customized

Compatible with all standard types of flat roofs, including concrete, membranes, and bituminous sheeting, with a maximum slope allowance of 5°

Optimal Ballast Setup:

• Utilizes the same parts for South, North-South, and East-West setups

• Low point loads due to evenly spread load distribution and aerodynamic design

• Optional wind deflector helps cool solar modules to improve system yield

Installation:

• Rapid installation facilitated by preassembled consoles and a low number of individual parts
